The endorsers then made a warning to him that if he cant make Cassandra do it, they'll pulling out on their agreement.

And that he can be of use because he knows where Amafura and Bukanding are hiding. Also, he has communication with Dyesebel.

He is not doing anything to convince Cassandra to model for them. Fredo realized that Gildo is very obsessed with Cassandra and asked him if he likes her. Gildo told Fredo that if that will be the case, what can he do about it. Fredo told him that Cassandra is his and that Gildo can never have her. And to further irritate Gildo, he asked him to give the company a favor and resign. When he left him, Gildo said to himself that Cassandra will be his.

She tried to call the mermaid but cant hear her. When people wanted to catch and hurt the mermaid for being cursed she became angry with them and told them that its not the mermaid's fault. The people thinks that she is demented. Then she cried and cried, thats when Isabel aka Dyesebel found her. She asked if there is anything wrong but she just denied it and continued crying. Both of them went home together.

He told them that he used Ariana's love to escape. He asked her to get the key to his cell because he wants to hug her but it was all a trick, he locked her up. But before that, he told her that he will never love her because she is the reason why Banak died and Bukanding and Dyesebel's relationship as brother and sisters was severed. And even if she did not want it to happen, it did happened. And lastly, he told her that he might as well die than to love someone like her. And then left her inside his cell.

Isabel and Ava arrived together. They were welcomed by Cassandra. When Ava left, Isabel confronted Cassandra and told her she knows that she is Berbola and that she stole Amafura's pearl. Cassandra told her that it doesn't matter because even if she told Fredo about it, he will not believe her. They tried to choke each other with their hands when Ava called Isabel to clean something.

Erebus tells Amafura that Dyesebel might be suffering right now because of Banak's death and Bukanding's anger to her and hope that he might be able to help her. Amafura told him that it is possible for him to go to where Dyesebel is and to have feet.

Isabel and Buboy plans on how to make Berbola sleep and take the white pearl back but they were overheard by Lola Felicia who asked who they plan to fall asleep. But they told her that it was only Buboy so that he'll still grow. Then they acted like they wanted to sleep, while Lola Felicia is suspicious of them.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT NOW!

The Tampa Bay Rays are still atop the AL East, but for how much longer? The Red Sox solved the Manny Ramirez dilemma and got him as far out of Boston as they could by sending him to the Dodgers. The Yankees did a great job of filling the holes on their roster and are clearly a legit threat to extend their amazing streak of post-season appearances. As for the Rays, they didn't do a thing. They were apparently on the verge of acquiring Jason Bay for a pair of prospects (reportedly Jeff Niemann and Reid Brignac), but backed off at the last minute, in essence allowing the Red Sox to make their deal.

It's my strong opinion that the Rays completely missed the boat in not making the deal with Pittsburgh. Niemann is a quality pitching prospect, but Tampa Bay is blessed with an actual abundance of great young arms, and Niemann was expendable. Brignac is a fine prospect as well, but he's not ready to take over SS yet and there are still questions about his offensive ceiling. Bay would have been a major pickup for a team that needs his offense right now, and they would have kept him away from one of their division rivals.

None of this should be surprising. The Red Sox and Yankees are aggressive and want to win. It's not just about the dollars. The Rays just don't have the same mindset, and I still get the impression that they're fine with just competing. Too bad, as I felt they had a real chance to win the division with just one significant move.

The Rays do have one hole card still at their disposal, however, and it's an ace named David Price. Last year's overall top draft pick has already exceeded the hype. He's currently overmatching hitters at AA and clearly has surpassed that level already.

The Rays should recall Price immediately and put him right into the rotation. There has been talk about bringing him up to work out of the bullpen similar to what the Yankees did with Joba Chamberlain last season. I think that's ridiculous on all counts. Chamberlain was already at a point where the Yankees felt they needed to limit his innings, and they also were in dire need of a quality bridge to Mariano Rivera. That's not the case in Tampa. J.P. Howell, Grant Balfour and Dan Wheeler have all been outstanding in front of Troy Percival, so the need for a shutdown one or two inning guy isn't there. On the flip side, the Rays need help at the back of their rotation. Price would be a major upgrade over either Edwin Jackson or Andy Sonnanstine.

The Rays have never been anything but hapless throughout their existence, but they've got a real chance to win their division or at least get the wild card this season. Management owes it to their players and their fans to give the team its best chance to win. That best chance is named David Price, and if the Rays are serious about trying to win, they'll have him up with the big club by the end of this week. But I'm not about to hold my breath in anticipation of this move.

SKINFLINTS RECALL LIRIANO, CUT LIVAN

The Minnesota Twins continue to prove my point. This organization is anything but major league in every regard and only continue to flourish and compete thanks to all the great moves by former GM Terry Ryan. One of those moves was the snow job Ryan pulled on Brian Sabean a few years back in a deal with the Giants that netted the Twins Joe Nathan and Francisco Liriano.

Liriano was unfairly kept in the minors about one month longer than he should have been so that the Twins could avoid having to offer him arbitration next year. Now that they've likely accomplished that objective, Liriano is back where he belongs and was sensational in completely shutting down the Indians on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Twins were also able to save more money by waiting to recall Liriano. I would not have faulted them for cutting Livan Hernandez a couple months ago, as he's been pretty lousy despite a massively misleading W/L ledger. Instead, they waited till Livan got very close to having some performance-based incentives kick in, and then dumped him. As shaky as Hernandez has been, he's not the worst pitcher on the roster. That would be Boof Bonser. But the prospect of spending a few dollars was enough to make the decision easy, so the Twins naturally said adios to Livan.

I have no problem with any owner operating his team to make a profit. They're all in business to make money, and that's the way it should be. But the Twins are a disgrace. They aren't small market in any regard but operate as if they're on a forced shoestring budget. I guess that's why their new stadium won't have a retractable roof, which would seem like kind of a necessity for a ballpark in Minneapolis, wouldn't it? With the Twins, making cents continues to clearly outweigh making sense.

TRADE TALK
Time to weigh in on a couple more deals that have transpired over the last several days.

TRADE TALK

Time to weigh in on a couple more deals that have transpired over the last several days. I'll start with the Phillies-A's swap involving Joe Blanton and then move on to yesterday's trade between the Padres and Astros with Randy Wolf changing uniforms.

The Phillies lost out on the CC Sabathia rental sweepstakes. I guess they felt they had to do something, so they opted to give up way too much for Blanton, who's nothing more than a back of the rotation innings eater. Blanton was overhyped from the get go after being drafted in the first round of the 2002 draft. I've got plenty of respect for A's GM Billy Beane, but it's also a fact that too many baseball analysts fall all over themselves at every prospect Beane goes after.

Blanton has never been anything overwhelming at any level as a pro. Good enough, but hardly great. My first in person look at Blanton came when he threw at Cashman Field while a member of the A's Sacramento AAA affiliate, and he was then what he is now. Sturdy, gritty and smart enough to get by without anything in his arsenal that's dominating. That's been good enough for him to chisel out mostly average numbers in a great pitchers park in Oakland. I wouldn't say this bodes well for him throwing in that bandbox in Philly.

Had the Phillies parted with a cheap package including perhaps one decent prospect and a couple of organizational types, I might understand better what they're doing. Blanton is an upgrade at the back of the rotation from the eminently hittable Adam Eaton. But he's at best a #4 starter, and there's no way I part with the trio the Phils sent Oakland's way in this deal. 2B Adrian Cardenas and LHP Josh Outman are high-end prospects, and OF Matt Spencer remains intriguing, although his pro numbers to date aren't impressive.

Cardenas is a steal for the A's. He's making nice strides following a great high school career in Miami, and with Mark Ellis likely out of Oakland by next season, the keystone position should be in the hands of Cardenas by the 2010 season. He was the #2 rated prospect in the Philly organization prior to this season and he's performed nicely at High-A.

Outman began the season as the #4 Phillies prospect. The lefty did some good work at AA Reading, and has a good chance to get a big league look sometime in 2009. Outman projects as a #3 starter down the road.

As for Spencer, he's somewhat of a disappointment so far after being taken in the third round of the '07 draft. His stock has therefore dropped, but he's still an interesting player, as the power tool is there. If he can figure out the strike zone, Spencer could still have a bright future.

It's my opinion that the Phillies either panicked after losing out to the Brewers for Sabathia, or they're seeing something in Blanton that I'm not. Regardless, I think they gave up WAY too much and I love this deal for the A's.

Next up, a mostly nothing deal between the Padres and Astros. Randy Wolf can't get through a full season without either getting hurt or slamming into the proverbial wall at mid-season. Wolf is right in typical form this year. He started off pitching really well, but has come unhinged over the last several weeks. In his last seven starts, Wolf has a nasty 6.94 ERA and a close to disastrous 1.91 WHIP.

The 'Stros didn't give up much for Wolf. Chad Reineke is a fringe big league prospect who probably ends up as no more than a middle inning type who bounces between the bigs and the bushes. He's been stalled at AAA Round Rock with very ordinary numbers.

I'd give the Astros the edge in this deal as Wolf is at least a proven big leaguer who can be pretty effective in spurts. I doubt that will ever be said about Reineke.

Quick question. I'm not exactly bullish on anything the Astros have done since Ed Wade took over the puppet reigns as their GM. But can anyone explain to me just what the hell Kevin Towers is doing in San Diego? Seriously, every time this team makes any kind of move the first word that comes to my mind is "huh?"

FANTASY FODDER

If you play in a deep mixed league, the following players are worth grabbing right now if available. None of them are world beaters, all of them are useful.

Joel Hanrahan will probably get the first opportunity for the saves Jon Rauch will leave behind in Washington. Rauch was traded Wednesday, heading off to Arizona to fortify the Diamondbacks bullpen. I'll cover that trade tomorrow. Meanwhile, it looks like Hanrahan gets first dibs as closing for the Nats. He's the most prototypical closer on the staff, as he's got the power heater, and he's been pretty solid lately. Saul Rivera and Luis Ayala could be in the mix. But the fact Rivera pitched the eighth inning Wednesday at San Francisco with the Nats down multiple runs is an indicator he's staying in a setup role. As for Ayala, he's been pretty lousy and has yet to approach the level he displayed before his assorted injuries. So it looks like Hanrahan's job to lose.

Willie Harris is on a huge roll for the Nationals. He's 28/76 over the last month with five long balls and Harris has excellent speed. Add in the fact the Nats have a load of injuries and Harris has 2B/3B/OF eligibility and he's a must grab in any deep format. Ride him while he's hot.

Cubs 2B Mike Fontenot is now getting most of the starts vs. righties and is worth an end of the roster spot in deep leagues. Fontenot has shown surprising power and he's hit .353 over roughly the last month. Considering the general lack of depth at MI this year, he's a notable scrap heap possibility.

Catchers are always in demand, especially since even the best starters have to sit once or twice a week. That makes surging Mets C Ramon Castro worth monitoring. He's starting to get more playing time of late, and he's putting up some serious numbers when in the lineup. If you're stuck for production behind the dish, Castro could help alleviate the problem.

Finally, there's old pro Eddie Guardado, whose name keeps popping up in trade rumors. He's of little fantasy use as a lefty setup man pitching the eighth inning, but if ends up in St. Louis, he might also end up closing. The Redbirds are really hurting for a ninth inning guy right now, and Everyday Eddie could get a chance to close there if a deal gets made. Keep an eye out to see where he ends up.

I was just referred to a page on Wikibin where the Vatican Islam Conspiracy had been removed for whatever reason from Wikipedia. One of my friends Googled my name to see what came up and saw this.

I often Google my own name to see what's out there on the web about me that I might not have put myself but more often than not a friend or acquaintance let me know what they see. This one link in particular makes me wonder, and it is not out of a feeling of self importance but rather a feeling of alarm that I get when I run across these idiots who promote this fake testimony. Why would Wikipedia nix something like this which in a way de facto lends the Vatican Islam Conspiracy creedence by taking away information that proves its falsehood?

More and more we see people promoting this many new places on the internet, including on YouTube where a plethora of videos of religious and non-religious conspiracy theorists re-spin this tale over and over.

Anyway, I imagine as this story grows it will be back. In the mean time, I made my own Squidoo lens on this back in 2006 so the information will still be there.

After tonight’s outcome, you really have to wonder about Joe Girardi’s managerial moves

After tonight's outcome, you really have to wonder about Joe Girardi's managerial moves. There has been a steady string of strange and questionable moves made by General Joe, and I'm starting to doubt my first post on this blog, where I essentially advocated for his hiring. Is this really the great strategist that we all heard about, or has Joe been something entirely different? Watching Melky Cabrera handle the bat in the 9th was pretty significant on a variety of levels.

More on this later, so stay tuned.

You guys know the saying, "I've grown accustomed to your face"? Can a Yankees fan say that about a long time Yankee? I can say that about Jeter, Rivera, Posada, Pettitte and a slew of other greats. But someone else has also become part of the family, the Pinstriped Family; Mike Mussina. He signed with the Yankees in December 2000. Wow, anyone remember that year? It seems so long ago!

That contract ran out in 2006 and he was given a 2 year deal, which ends this year. He's been the epitomy of consistency. I think that a lot of reporters and Yankees fans have changed their opinion on him over the last couple of seasons. This makes his position in the Pinstriped family complete. I know so many people who thought he was anti-social and arrogant. Reporters found him unfriendly and insincere. Fans thought he didnt have any heart. So much of that has changed.

As Moose earned his AL leading 10th victory last night, I saw many fans praising his postgame interview with Kim Jones of the YES network. Fans commented on how humble, down-to-earth, and gracious he is. He thinks about today. He's just thankful to be pitching and greatful to be here. He appriciates being given the oppertunity to pitch as long as he has, rather than saying he's earned it.

Mike you've earned it. Now the media can't get enough of him. He's their go-to guy when something happens. They laugh at his "smart-ass" comments rather than taking them as a sign of arrogance. The media is all over him.

I know there is Chipper, the Rays, the White Sox pitching staff and tons of other feel-good stories this season, but in NY with the Mets being so miserable (may God have mercy), Mike Mussina is the Yankees feel good story.

Now, if all goes well, he will represent his team at their home park for next month's All-Star game. It won't be a bone to spare for a fading great, it won't be a sentimental pick, it'll be because he's earned it. At 10-4 with a 3.87 ERA and an out-of-this world 11 walks given up the ENTIRE SEASON, Mike Mussina has earned his first trip to the All-Star game in pinstripes (idk what happend in 2001, 2006).

So while experts predicted a 5-11 season with an ERA of 5.66, Mike Mussina makes them look silly. So if you haven't accepted this season as "forreal" already you better do so soon. If you haven't accepted him as a consistent part of the Yankees, you better do that soon cuz' Mussina has won 260 games, and with every 5 victories, being the all time leader in American League wins, he makes his chances of going into the Hall of Fame brighter, and I promise you he'll wear pintripes in Coopers Town.

Let me be clear about this; Joba Chamberlain should be successful as a starter. However, I want to point out a few things.

Starting is different than relieving. Well...yeah, you say. Other than the obvious it should be pointed out that until he started the other day, he had never been through an entire lineup twice. Big league hitters are big league hitters because, in part, they can adjust. That's one of the reasons why you'll see starters sail through the first few innings then get hammered in later frames.

Ever wonder why Smoltz was even better as a closer than he was a starter? Think about it, if Joba is facing four hitters or less an inning, a player might, and only might, see him twice in a series. Not a lot of time to make an adjustment. It's not that he isn't very, very good or be great starter. It is just that Yankee fans shouldn't expect him to repeat that success as a starter. There is no guarantee that he won't implode. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get Kerry Woo.

If it were me, I'd leave him as a set-up man and build him up next spring. He and Rivera make the game seven innings long. Kind of like Wetteland and Rivera years ago. Anyone remember how that worked for the Yankees?

The Yankees' problems run far deeper than the lack of Joba starts. Though they have been changing their focus in recent years they are still suffering from neglect of their farm system. You might want to point out to me recent successes like Chamberlain. With the money they have, however, they should have the premier farm system. It isn't just a matter of drafting well though that is important. It is also a matter of scouting inside and outside of organized ball, player development and proper identification of prospects inside and outside of your system.

If there was a team that had the money to sign a Rule 5 like Josh Hamilton it was the Yankees. Too many old men on the 40 man roster in my opinion. You're saying who knew? The Cubs and Reds knew. Look at the Reds, for example. Hamilton, Bruce, Cueto, Volquez, Votto are all producing at the major league level with others to come.

Which leads me back to Joba. The Yankees are doing better at identifying and developing talent. When you've developed talent as poorly as the Yankees have, however, it leads people to expect miracles to occur because one very good pitcher is starting every five days.

http://www.mastrodigital.com.br/

http://www.sineriz.com.uy/

http://www.free-rivera.com.uy/

Všude samá Frida a samý fridovec.

Svatyně, kam docháejí nejvěrnější kněží a kněžky.

Washington, DC--On as perfect a summer day as one could ask for in the Nation's Capital, a Memorial Day crowd of 28,552 was witness to a memorable ball game despite the home standing Washington Nationals losing to the visiting Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in eleven innings.

The game time temperature at the park was 78 degrees, but felt warmer sitting in the beautiful sunshine that bathed most of the crowd. Emotions would rise with the afternoon temperatures, though, as disputed plays and frustrating results were cause for patrons to get hot under the collar.

The deciding inning was ugly for the Nationals, not for the fact they gave up the winning run, but how it went down. With Luis Ayala unavailable to pitch due to overwork earlier in the series, and closer Jon Rauch having already pitched in the ninth inning, Manager Manny Acta let Saul Rivera go back out into the heat for his second inning of relief work. Milwaukee's stout first baseman, Prince Fielder, led off the frame and doubled down the left field line. Manager Ned Yost ordered fifth-place hitter Corey Hart to sacrifice, and he did his job, moving Fielder over to third. Rivera struck out the next batter, Russell Branyan, on three pitches, and with two outs the home fans remained hopeful that Rivera would emerge unscathed.

It was not to be though, as Gabe Kapler singled on the first pitch he saw from Rivera to drive in Fielder and give the Brewers the cushion they would need. Rivera (L, 3-2, 4.26) managed to get out of the inning without another run, but it was not for lack of effort. He walked light-hitting catcher Jason Kendall and pinch-hitter Craig Counsell on eight pitches, and would throw three more balls to second baseman Rickie Weeks. But Weeks eventually rolled over on a slider and grounded out with the bases loaded to end the threat.

The bottom of the ninth would find no triumphant retort. Brewers Manager Ned Yost summoned his closer of the moment, Salomon Torres, and Torres shut down any thoughts of an extra innings comeback. Aaron Boone (0-for-5) and Wil Nieves both grounded out to short and Lastings Milledge (1-for-5, .242) struck out to end the matinee.

The Nats did have a few offensive heroes on this day, though not quite enough. Cristian Guzman continued his strong spring, by going 2-for-5 with a home run (his fifth) in the bottom of the first inning to get the Nats started. Jesus Flores, who looks stronger everyday as the Nats regular catcher, went 2-for-4 and raised his average to .340.

The biggest and most exciting play of the day centered around the Nats' big man himself, Dmitri Young. Down 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth, with the Nats having just surrendered the lead in the top of the inning, Young sauntered to the plate with two outs and a chance to tie, and he came through -- although in a controversial and contested manner. On an 0-1 count, Young blasted a shot toward the Red Porch in left center field that found Brewers center fielder Mike Cameron racing back to the wall. Cameron leapt at the wall but could not come down with the ball, and the ball ricocheted back into center field. By the time Cameron was able to recover and track the ball down, Young had carried his large frame all the way into third base with what appeared to be a triple.

But no sooner had time been called than Manny Acta came confidently out of the dug out to confer with the umpires. Acta pointed out to the men in black that Young's blast had carried over the outfield fence and had, in fact, bounced off the front wall of the Red Porch, some three feet or so behind the center field fence before bouncing back into play. After deliberating, the umpires agreed that had indeed been the case, and awarded Young his first home run since August of last season. Yost came out to protest mildly, but left after getting the explanation from the umps.

After the game, Cameron suggested changing the color of the second wall to alleviate the confusion, as both walls are green. "They [the upmires] got it right," Cameron said. "They've got to change it or do something to fix that."

Nationals starter Jason Bergmann had another terrific outing, extending his scoreless innings streak to nineteen and two-thirds since being recalled from Triple-A Columbus. He pitched five and two-thirds scoreless on the afternoon, allowing four hits and one walk with eight strikeouts.

The Nationals travel to San Diego for a three-game series with the Padres starting Tuesday night. Shawn Hill (0-1, 4.08 ) returns to the mound to test his right elbow against Randy Wolf (3-4, 4.76). Game time is 10:05 EDT.

NATS NOTES: The loss drops Washington's record to 22-30, nine games behind division leading Florida.

Ryan Zimmerman had the day off to rest his sore left shoulder. He is listed by the team as day-to-day on the injury report.

The Nationals are 1-9 in their last 10 extra innings games dating back to last season.

The main issue this year has been the lack of run production. ARod and Posada have been out. Many of the other players have been producing below average offensively.(As you may remember, last year ARod single-handedly carried the Yankees through April and part of May. He has already hit 2 home runs in 2 gams... Really 3 home runs but we'll discuss that on a later date.)

The Yankees will hit this year.

The Yankees moving Joba Chamberlain to the starting rotation is a BIG mistake.

While the Yankees have had a bad year, their pitching strategy has been solid.

Get the starting pitcher through the 1st 6 inning. (Mussina is a good example of this.)

Have Kyle Farnsworth, Jose Veras, or Latroy Hawkins pitch the 7th inning

Have Joba Chamberlain pitch the 8th inning

And have Mariano Rivera pitch the 9th

This has worked well for Mike Mussina (until his last start)

This strategy lets Pettitte only concern himself about 6 innings. (He is getting older)

Chien-Ming Wang can pitch as many innings as he wants.

This allows the Yankees to also have “starting pitching by committee”.

Why not groom Joba to take over for Mariano?

Joe - Keep Joba in the 'pen. Don’t move him to the starting rotation!

Dinner in Orange County isn't called "The California Rivera" for nothing, largely due to its impressive list of restaurants. If your going to do steak, you do steak at Bistango by Chef Javier Montoya. The key to his renowned steaks is in the cut. His favorite is the New York cut about two inches thick. I have been dining at this restaurant for over eleven years so the Ghoukassian family owners were kind enough to let me take a peak as my dish was being prepared.

~ Prepping is key! According to Chef Motoya let the steak get to room temperature. Preheat the grill or a heavy skillet if your using a stove over high heat. Brush steak with olive oil and only season with sea salt and fresh pepper.

~ Sear and cook the steak to medium rate which is a warm and pink center. Let steak sit for about ten minutes before serving. Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with more sea salt.

Enjoy like moi with salad, garlic roasted potatoes, and chocolate souffle for dessert!

Moi xoxo
