So far, I've pretty much loved every NeYo track that's leaked. Even though I've heard 98% of the album, I'm still looking forward to coping his new album "The Year of the Gentleman". This is a dope remix to an already dope track. I love these kinda reworkings! Jamie Foxx & NeYo together is a good look. Fab does his thing too of course!

Ne-Yo says he got the heave-ho from an R. Kelly tour because he was too big for R.'s liking -- and now a judge is giving him a nice green shower because of it.

An L.A. Superior Court judge ordered Rowe Entertainment to shell out $700K yesterday after Rowe never responded to a lawsuit Ne-Yo filed earlier this year. Ne (real name Shaffer Smith) wanted payback after he got dropped from the pisstastic one's tour -- because, he alleged, he upstaged Kelly.

Rowe had responded back when the lawsuit was filed it never got a "finalized" contract from Ne-Yo's agent, hence he got booted.

R & B singer Neyo recently was award $700,320 from a lawsuit that he filed against the promoters of R.Kelly's "Double Up" tour.  It seems that the trouble began in November 2007 when Ne-yo set out on a tour with Keyshia Cole, J. Holiday and R. Kelly as the Headliner.  The tour was scheduled to play in 25 venues, but Ne-yo was released from the tour after the second show.  At the time, Ne-yo complained loudly that R. Kelly was jealous that the opening acts were getting more attention than his show.  Whatever the reason, Ne-yo was history from the tour.

Or so Rowe Entertainment thought.  But it was not to be, Ne-yo filed a lawsuit in December to be paid the rest of what he was promised (he had been paid a small portion already).  What is funny is that Ne-yo might not have won this case, but Rowe Entertainment's arrogance cost them $700 thousand and some change.  They failed to respond to the complaint which more than likely fueled the Judge to rule in Ne-yo's favor.  They almost backed him into a corner.....you never get pompous with someone who can make you show them the money!

LOL  There have been times when I was in the process of learning a lesson that I didn't see it as such because it was such a hard lesson to learn.  These were the times when I couldn't see a light at the end of the tunnel for the life of me.  In the end, I was able to look back and say, "Ohhhh...that's why that happened!"  I live for those moments.  I had one while I was watching part 2.  This is why were here.  To learn lessons and teach them.  The more you learn, the more you're able to teach.*******

I learned the hard way that me and liquor do not mix. I’m not the violent one, I am just the one throwing up … I went out with Jay-Z once. Shots came around but around the fifth I noticed that no one else was drinking them … Nine later and I was throwing up outside of Jay-Z’s car … He threatened to send me the cleaning bill if I was sick inside.

He said nine shots later? Neyo better be glad he's still living.....

Ehh, why not keep it R&B from time to time. Also, two of my favorite ladies are in this video.

I typically avoid radio stations for two reasons. First, I can't stand obnoxious and invasive advertising and second because of their tendency to "kill songs" by overplaying them as soon as they reach top 40 status. You can't really avoid knowing what's pop (or popular) because these tunes generally make their way into shopping malls, ring tones and blasting car stereo's.

Three very recent tunes which I say fit this description very well include NeYo's So Sick, Chris Brown's With You, Rhianna's Take a Bow and Rhianna and NeYo's Hate that I love You. The commonality does not stop there. All of these tracks were produced by Stargate and all of them reached number 1. As Dj Kole points out and demonstrates clearly in this vid....perhaps it's because they are in one way or another ( slower and faster tempo's) the same silly pop song. Kick beat, clap.....

Om de stijgende lijn van succes erin te houden heeft de r&b-zanger het hulp ingeroepen van de drie hotste vrouwen van dit moment. Gabrielle Union, zangeres Keri Hilson en 'Sean John'-model/actrice Lauren London maken alledrie hun opwachting in de video.

I'm pretty sure NeYo's entire album has leaked over the past few months. I ain't complaining, but it can't be good for him and the label? LOL! Anyways, check the latest leak...

NeYo - "Not Perfect"

I'm really looking forward to hearing the album in its entirety. Everything NeYo's dropped thus far has been top class! Great R&B is something lacking these days, so what this dude is doing is well needed and most definitely appreciated. I reckon "The Year of the Gentleman" is gonna be the landmark album for NeYo.

Questa mattina, davanti a due fette biscottate con burro e marmellata di albicocche, il classico zapping televisivo sulle reti musicali mi porta su All Music e per la prima volta ascolto il nuovo singolo di Neyo. S'intitola CLOSER. Scatta il colpo di fulmine, la voglia di ballare è tantissima e credo che questo singolo possa candidarsi ufficialmente a chiudere l'estate in maniera strepitosa.

Certo, si potrebbero evitare i soliti video r'n'b (questo è anche dance...) con le solite mignottone ammiccanti e quasi completamente denudate alla mercè del rapper di turno, oppure quegli orribili orecchini enormi stile tronista di "Uomini e Donne" che di sera in bici possono fungere da catarinfrangenti, ma il resto va tutto bene: colori, effetti e coreografie ed ovviamente la voce del cantante.

Quando un singolo ti piace non vedi l'ora di impararlo a memoria, lo canti fino allo sfinimento consapevole del fatto che questo, oltre a candidarsi ad essere il disco del momento, è già pronto per essere anche il disco da rottamare al più preto per SATURAZIONE ACUSTICA! :)
