1ère raison: je ne possède pas de PDA,

2ème raison: je ne possède pas de forfait adéquate pour naviguer de mon mobile,

3ème raison: Internet est plus simple d'accès via nos bons vieux PC's

Mais en faite toutes les grandes enseignes en possèdent un comme par exemple bmw.mobi, 875 000 noms de domaine en .mobi ont été enregistrés depuis 2006.

Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas, c'est un site réservé à l'internet mobile car il est adapté à la taille des écrans mais aussi au faite que l'utilisateur ne possèdent pas de clavier et souris. Il est bien sûr visible via le net mais à dimension mobile phone.

Pourquoi je vous en parle vous me direz....

Parce que il s'agit de mon projet tuteuré d'où l'intérêt de ce post car je recherche des réactions de personnes qui ont pu en créer, des tutoriels....

Aber, DOCH man kann!

Wie es der Teufel will, wurde mir mein Handy wirklich gestohlen. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch schon den A1 Shop in unserer Stadt aufgesucht um die Ansprüche meiner Handyversicherung geltend zu machen. Nach einer kurzen Diskussion mit dem Verkäufer wurde ich sofort zur Polizei weitergeleitet. (Habe ich mir auch gedacht, dass es dort hingehen wird.)

Am Polizeirevier

Dort angekommen, wirst du sofort nach dem "Guten Tag!" und durchgehend bis zum "Auf Wiedersehen" selbst wie der Dieb des Handys behandelt. Nach 1,5 Stunden (!) hast du den Wisch mit dem Titel "Diebstahlanzeige" in der Hand. Mit diesem geht es dann zurück zum A1 Shop.

Nachdem Ich den Vorfall nun zumx-ten mal erzählt habe, wurde vom A1 Verkäufer eine Tussi der Handyversicherung angerufen und mir das Telefon in die Handy gedrückt (Ja sag mal, bin ich der A1 Vertreter ??) . Diese wollte mir erzählen, dass ich den Schutz der Versicherung nicht mehr in Anspruch nehmen kann, da ich mich nicht innerhalb 48 Stunden gemeldet habe.

JA WIE DENN, WENN EINEM SAMSTAG ABEND DAS HANDY GESTOHLEN WIRD UND DIE GESCHÄFTSZEITEN DER GUTEN VERSICHERUNG MONTAG 08:30 UHR VORMITTAGS (!) BEGINNEN!!!!

Nach 10 Minuten Gebrülle war auch diese Diskussion beendet.  Nun hieß es warten bis die Versicherung den Schadensfall aufgenommen und gleichwertige Modelle ausgewertet hat.

2 Tage später stand ich wieder im A1 Shop. Nun konnte ich mir eines von ca. 20 Handys auswählen die alle nicht dem Wert meines gestohlenen Handy entsprachen. Somit blieb mir nichts anderes übrig als dieses Müll um billiges Geld weiter zu verkaufen.

Fazit:

Wenn ich alle

• Versicherungsbeiträge,
• den verbrauchte Sprit
• und die verbrauchte Zeit
• + 40 € Selbstbehalt (ja, man lese sich den Vertrag sehr genau)

zusammenzähle und mit dem wirklichen Wert des neuen Handys subtrahiere stellte ich fest:

Carbon Diem's mobile phone carbon calculator

Keeping track of your carbon footprint could become as simple as slipping a mobile phone in your pocket: a London-based start-up company has developed software for mobile phones that uses global positioning satellites to work out automatically whether you are walking, driving or flying and then calculate your impact on the environment.

Carbon Diem's inventors claim that, by using GPS to measure the speed and pattern of movement, their algorithm can identify the mode of transport being used. It can therefore calculate the amount of carbon dioxide that a journey has emitted into the atmosphere – without any need for input from the traveller.

The system's inventor, Andreas Zachariah, a graduate student of the Royal College of Art in London and chief executive of the Carbon Hero company, said that Carbon Diem is the world's first automated carbon calculator.

Because it keeps a constantly updated diary of a person's carbon emissions, Zachariah said that a user can easily track their environmental impact and, if they choose, modify their behaviour to lower-carbon alternatives.

"We're facilitating people to make little changes and allow those changes to be noted and registered and possibly shared," he said. "If lots of people realise we're in this marathon [in tackling climate change] and we're not running alone, then we actually think people will be motivated to stick to changes."

He has tested the software in Nokia and Blackberry phones, using computer algorithms to predict the kind of transport a person is taking. He claims that in tests over the past year, the software was almost 100% accurate in working out when people were on airplanes or trains; it was between 65-75% accurate at guessing when people travelled on buses.

Zachariah said he had the idea for Carbon Diem when he tried to work out his own carbon footprint using the many online calculators available. These usually involve manually entering the details of type of transport and the length of a journey.

"The whole process is so painful," Zachariah said. "That's when I realised it had to be effortless."

Zachariah believes companies could also benefit from the software, as firms committing to reducing their environmental impact may need to collect travel data on their employees. He accepts there could be concerns over privacy but says the software can be used to record only the carbon impact, not the actual routes.

Friends of the Earth's climate campaigner, Robin Webster, said: "Individuals have an important role to play in tackling climate change - and technologies like the Carbon Diem could help people cut their carbon footprint."

The European Space Agency (Esa) gave the Carbon Diem software a regional award last year in its European satellite navigation competition. It will launch commercially in spring next year.

1. Reset to original factory setting by typing *2767*3855#, youre phone will reboot

2. Then insert a sim card that is from another network that your phone is not locked to.

3. An Wrong sim message will come up on the screen

4. When message appears type in* #9998*3323#

5. At this time a white screen will appear which says “exit”

6. Tap the rigth soft key, (occasionally it will not go to the next screen, if so press the down key)

7. From the menu that appears scroll down to the malloc Fail option, this will reboot, and normal service screen will appear.

8. Then type *0141# and press the green call key, Personalized will appear on the screen, and the name of the current sim card provider will appear on the screen.

9. Turn phone off, and then turn on

10. Go to menu by tapping left soft key, then settings in bottom right hand corner, then choose option number 7 security, then choose option number 6 Sim Lock, select option 1 disable

11. Then enter 00000000 (eight zeros), the message will come up sim lock disabled with a check mark, your phone is now unlocked to use with other carriers.

Durga pujo is the festival of the bengalis.Its the festival of togetherness for the communism fed and Trinomool stricken simpletons of the eastern most Bengali speaking state-a state sorry to say, no one cares as much anymore.Its the time bengalis all over pack their bags and travel to Kolkata to spend a few days with their loved ones(read senile parents and relatives who just refuse to leave 'bongobhumi' or whatever was left of it).Part of that travel usually involves succumbing to old traditions and some needless locomotion in a weather which though counts to some 27 degrees centigrade yet feels like 36 degree centigrade because of the abysmally high relative humidity.Add to that the ever inviting face of a scorching sun and you get you own shot of a sunburn tequila ! Coming back to the needless locomotion part.Well we have a family pujo of our own-its a Kali pujo.You can do the pujo during the scheduled days of Kalipujo or you can do it on special Saturdays where a lot of factors from the Bengali almanac fall in line.Also after all major events in my family its a custom to travel to Dakhineshwar and offer our pujo to the Goddess Kali there.This time the event was the first homecoming of sonny.

After a long and detailed midnight discussion with my better half regarding some urgent family matters,we suddenly realized that it was late enough to wake up very early today.With a quick and swift maneuver, we ducked off to sleep only to be awakened a few hours later,staggering groggily like the flesh craving zombies from resident evil 3: Extinction.Anyway a few splashes of cold water brought us back to our mortal senses and we were almost ready to dance the jig.Got the friendly neighborhood cab guy who insisted that we take some strange new road created for the sole purpose of reaching Dakshineshwar from my home at DumDum.We later found out that it was not so worth considering that it was a round way that set me back about Rs 60.00 more than the standard meter.Anyway,we reached there fast,safe and sound.So did a lot of other pilgrims, only in large tourist buses.

The entire place was renovated-no more dank and damp approaching alleys alongside the Ganga with the incessant howling and the battle cries of the dala vendors and shoe keepers (dala vendors= vendors those sell sweets and materials for pujo and also work as keepers of shoes).There is a separate mall like section altogether near the Panchavati called the dala arcade ! Talk of bringing up malls all at the wrong places.Contrary to what we grew up with,this is swank,posh and clean-the only thing not changing is the incessant howling and screaming of the same vendors who now sell from a mall.Anyway,two of them were gracious enough to lend their visage for my photography efforts.

Today was unfortunately one of those days when you feel like you shouldn't have come altogther.To start with, the line of Pujo started from Panchavati which , to the known, is quite far off from the main mandir.Though I had followed the rituals of having a bath,wearing new clothes and fasting before I left from home, I didn't buy a dala for myself-instead my better half bought one for both of us and I immediately rested my expectations for my puja onto her-she didn't object to it since she is kind of used these kind of atrocities now-a-days ! ;) So while she waited in line in the scorching hot kolkata sun-I ventured off to kool my heels with a few snaps from the Ganga.

When I came back after sufficient self indulgence with my camera near Panchavati only to find my better half,my mom and my sis were no where to be seen! Hence started a woman-hunt (pun intended) never before witnessed in the history of all the seasons of LOST.Anyway I found them -they actually found out another shorter line and headed there abandoning me - sometimes they so ignore the modern marvel of technology - a hint: they were carrying three cell phones but no one cared to call me!

The Puja went fine and it was time to head home but not before the famous Kachuri and Dal from the various roadside stalls made their way in our bags ... and later.... in our tummies  :)

Let's take a look at what can be gleaned from lookiing through the 1977 calendar:

This year started out with a bang! And it was not a good one as Jan. 1 was the day my father broke his arm falling on the ice at Lake Buelah near East Troy, Wis. My dad's uncle worked as a groundskeeper at the seminary on the lake and we would go out there every once in a while to fish or swim. On this particular New Year's Day, we decided to go ice skating. Uncle Clarence had shoveled the snow off a portion of the frozen lake, creating a large, smooth space of clear ice.

My younger brother, myself and my dad got out on the ice after watching Clarence skate circles around us. At least this is how I remember it 31 years later. Now, I have never gotten along very well in the cold, and it was very cold this day. So you know we were not skating -- or attempting to skate -- since when we stopped I was not yet wimpering and pleading to go home due to frozen fingers, frozen toes or any other body part.

All of a sudden, my dad fell, probably said a "bad" word and clutched his arm. Clarence helped him get up, then Dad said we had to go home. I wasn't all that upset, but I would have at least liked to get cold first. However, he drove home with one hand, since the arm with the other hand attached was broken.

Now, my dear sweet father claims that he was checked hard into the board by one of his strapping sons (most have been my brother as I was a weakling of a strongbean at the time), and although I do not recall this event in such a manner, I allow Dad to recall it any way he chooses. After all, he is in his golden years now. So, he has earned that right.

Apparently, I was unmoved by this event as I had the audacity to go to my friend Kurst's house to play the next day instead of staying with my ailing father. Hey, I was 13 years old. Cut me a break, OK?

Kurt's parents were originally from Hawaii. His mother came to school once when I was in maybe third grade or so and gave a slide show on Hawaii. She used to pack pineapple in cans. If I have the story straight (and it is possible some details of this are not entirely correct), during World War II, Kurt's parents were stuck in one of those internment camps for anyone who looked Oriental, supposedly for "their own good."

Another thing that took place the first of January was a visit from Grandma Mac, my mom's mother. I loved Grandma Mac. She always had Archway cookies in a kitchen drawer, hard candy in a dish (the soft-filled red raspberry ones were the best) and Lawrence Welk on the TV.

Another aspect of this calendar was that I had used a puple highlighter to highlight two boxes apiece from January through March. No idea what that was all about.

I also see that I'd written "count dough" a few places. This was a time when I was keeping track of my money. I kept track of what I spent and what I earned and was quite meticulous in the record keeping. And every so often during this period of time, I would tally my net worth. It was five figures at the time, two of them to the right of the decimal place.

By the time 1977 rolled around, I was more of a circular guy, with most of the dates that passed being circled instead of the traditional Xs I used the previous year. X is just so bicentennial! Pshaw!

In March, I had a phone number written down. No idea why. But I just did a reverse phone lookup for it on the Internet and it came up as an unlisted cell phone number. I'm pretty sure it wasn't someone's cell phone number in 1977. Remember the first mobile phones? They were so huge. Cannon had one on his TV show. They called them car phones cause they were usually found in people's cars.

I have "WTMJ 2:00" written down on March 19th (a Saturday). Wish I could recall what this was for. WTMJ is the big radio station in Milwaukee. It's part of a media group that included both the big daily newspapers in Milwaukee at the time -- the Journal and the Sentinel, since merged -- as well as a TV station in town. I have a feeling that because I wrote "WTMJ," I meant the radio station. It must have been a note to listen to the station at that time for some special reason. I did go to the WTMJ TV studio once when I was in Cub Scouts, but that was well before 1977. Our Cub Scout pack went to a filming of the Bozo show, some local show that aired on Saturday or Sunday mornings. It featured the clown, who did some stuff that I think was supposed to be funny. They also had kids in the audience, and they would pick some out of the crowd to play a game. My friend, Tim, got picked. I did not. But it was an experience anyway.

I kept track of all the Milwaukee Brewers' promotional days on my calendar that year. Starting with a kids day special on April 14 against the Baltimore Orioles all the way until the end of September, I wrote them all down. The Brewers played their games less than five miles from our house and we used to go fairly often. When my brother and I got old enough, my dad would drop us off at the front gate and pick us up after the game. We went to bat night once and got a red Coca-Cola bat. That was one of the coolest promotions I ever went to.

We also went when we got a gold-colored three-ring binder. It was my first recollection of a promo day, and my dad called it "present day." That was also pretty cool. We used to sit in the bleachers for $2 a seat back in those days. Talk about cheap entertainment. I can't hardly afford to go to Major League Baseball games anymore.

I remember seeing Hank Aaron hitting a home run in the bottom of the 10th inning of the second game of a doubleheader against the Texas Rangers to complete a sweep of the twinbill on July 11, 1976. It was Aaron's last year in a brilliant career and it was the second-to-last home run of his career. My brother and I took a special city bus down to the stadium and wondered if the bus would wait for us as we, along with thousands of others, waited after the game for Hank to emerge from the dugout and give a curtain call as we chanted his name and cheered for him. Later, when I became a sportswriter, I had an opportunity to interview Hank Aaron.

Here is my younger brother's recollection of the event: "It was a boring game and we were sitting in the top row of upper deck.  To pass time, we were stompping on cups and throwing them up in the air to see the wind carry them out of the stadium.  We were out of cups and went to get more soda when a really old security guard accosted us and sent us out of the stadium.  He followed us down close to the entrance, but didn't see us all the way to the gate.  It was only the 4th or 5th inning and Dad wasn't coming to get us for awhile, so we went back in and found seats in the lower grand or lower box right behind the plate.  We watched the rest of the game and Hank's 754th homerun to win the game from those seats.  I believe he hit a foul on the pitch prior to the HR that just missed the foul poul in left.  The HR hit the foul pole for the walkoff win."

On May 2 (the first school day in May 1977), I started a countdown of the 31 school days remaining until the end of eighth grade. At least I'm pretty sure that's what it was. Day No. 1 was listed as June 13 (a Monday). If the final day of school was a Monday, we must have had a snow day or two added to the schedule. We typically started school the day after Labor Day and got out the second week of June. My kids start the second week of August and get out before Memorial Day. I prefer it the way we did it.  I think August should be a summer vacation month. For one thing, the Indiana State Fair is till going on while kids go back to school.

The summer of 1977 was a year of camping for me. I went to a Russian language camp for almost two weeks in northern Minnesota, then took a week off, and headed to Boy Scout summer camp in northern Wisconsin.

Russian camp was cool. It was my only experience with a language camp. We used Russian money to buy candy. We had name tags with our Russian names. We spoke as much Russian as we could. We eyed the girls, played soccer, visited the Mississippi River headwaters and made friends with kids from all over the place. My dad was a Russian teacher -- learned the language in the U.S. Air Force -- and I had him for a teacher for three years.

This particular year at Boy Scout camp, I set the troop record for the mile swim and actually swam more than a mile because the guys in the rowboat in front of me went off course. I'd swam during the summer with the local parks swim club, so swimming a mile was no big deal to me. In fact, when I found out we'd gone too far, I wanted to do it again so I could lower my time even further. But I think the adults didn't feel like rowing a mile again and dissuaded me from my attempt.

I went to Boy Scout summer camp two, maybe three, times. Among the things I recall from that were our troop winning a greased watermelon competition at the beachfront games, accidentally inserting a cooking fork into my assistant pack leader's forearm (anger and frustration are a bad combination of emotions while cooking), having a slightly younger Scout read Bible passages to me and discuss them with me as we turned in at night, whittling a piece of wood into the shape of a deer's hoof and giving it to my dad, shooting a 22 very poorly at the rifle range and the final campfire on the final night.

Spoon, from Season 1 Of Vh1's The pickup Artist, was nice enough to let me interview him. Enjoy the read!

• What is your idea of a perfect date?
--- A date that’s as random as I am. I like to pickup my date on my vintage motorcycle. It’s a great way to get close and really enjoy the surroundings. Oregon is a beautiful state. We would just ride around exploring new areas. Sometimes I like to stop and just check out a new restaurant and see what kind of DELIOUS foods they have. Well, ok sometimes the food is shit. :)

• How would you describe your ideal dream woman?
--- Tara, you are my idea dream woman. And I’m dead serious. I like gals who are down to earth, clever, kind hearted and have a great sense of humor. It’s really similar to who I am. But sadly we could never be. Jdog already said he has dibs on you first. Hahaha. I love that guy.

• What person living today do you most relate to and why?
--- I would have to say Jdog (Co-Host of Vh1 The Pickup Artist Season 1). After I left the show Jdog really showed some heart and character. He really wanted to help me change my life. So for a month he coached me (for free which would normally cost a lot) 1 on 1 and turned my life around. A lot of people don’t even recognize me anymore. I dress differently, talk deeper, and lost a lot of weight, covered with tattoos and piercings and exude personality. Plus we have the same taste in women :)

• What was your experience with women before being on The Pickup Artist Season 1?
--- I was a geeky guy who played video games pretty much all day. My social life was non existent. I was pretty damn depressed. Innocent and naïve, I had no concept whatsoever on how to be around women. I just plain didn’t know what to do. PERIOD! I wanted a girlfriend or a female I could hangout with, but didn’t know how I would meet them or attract them. I attempted to pick up women. I would always start out by saying something funny. I thought if I could just make them laugh all the time they would like me. I found out that in doing so I was only seen as entertainment for them. I would provide them with humor while other guys would come in with their confident, smooth demeanor and sweep them away right before my very eyes.

• What went through your mind when you were picked to be on the show? What were your expectations?
--- I was totally blown away when I found out I was picked. It was always a dream of mine to be on TV. I wasn’t sure what to expect from it at first till I was actually on the show. But I knew that I needed this to change and grow as a person. I knew I was an amazing guy. I just didn’t know how to show it.

• How did it feel to go into the club that first night in Austin?
--- It was horrible. It’s like you got into a car accident and then another car hits and then another hits, and another hits, etc... The longer I stayed in there the more I panicked. I’m not really the club type of guy. In the past I wouldn’t stay any longer then 10 min in a club. It’s generally not the type of people I would want to meet or get to know.

• When we were in the club that second night and you froze up, what exactly were you thinking at that moment?
--- I kind of blanked out and didn’t know what to do. Thinking about it now and I don’t really have words to describe it. But I do remember you (Tara) coming and giving me the support and motivation that I needed for that one moment. That made a huge difference for me and I was able to talk to a group of women successfully. I felt alive. I didn’t think something like that would be fun and exciting.

• Do you regret your decision to leave the show?
--- Yes, very much. BUT that’s only because I’m not the same person who left the show. Back at that time it was the right choice. The pressure of being on TV and doing what I feared most really put a lot of stress on me mentally. The pace was to fast for real change. I really want another chance to show everyone that I didn’t fail at change. I really feel that I actually changed the most.

• If you could go back and do it again, would you? What would you do differently?
--- I would do it in a heart beat. The energy I would give out. The confidence would be at a whole new level. I want that second chance on TV again to show change and to help change other people’s lives. But mostly because I want guys who were like me to know there is hope. Plus I wouldn’t have held back at wanting to fight Kosmo. I don’t like the punk ass or how fake he was on the show.

• How is your love-life and experience with women now?
--- Fantastic. I usually try and go on a date with someone new each week. I work at a jewelry booth at the Saturday Market here in Portland selling handmade women’s jewelry. So I interact with women a lot and it’s a great place for me to expand my experience with women. I get numbers all the time. Some have even bought me lunch.

• Do you think that the being on the show and learning pick-up made you change your personality?
--- My personality is still the same. I didn’t really get the chance to express who I was when I was on the show. Being shy and nervous kept my true personality on pause. Thanks to Jdog I can be who I am. Myself! I am a guy who loves women.

• How is your life now, a year after the show?
--- Looking back on myself then and who I have become now it brings a tear to my eye due to how much I’ve changed. I am definitely more confident and secure in who I am. I am not afraid to show my sensual side, I am more ‘touch’ oriented and I am definitely more comfortable around women.

• Boldest Pick-Up move?
--- Here is the scene. A beautiful, dark haired, fair skinned woman who looked like she was from Europe is sitting in this vegetarian restaurant. I approach her and begin…

Me: The falatio here is great. I know an even better spot for it.
Her: *pause*
Me: It’s right down the street.
Her: *pause* Don’t you mean ‘falafel’?
Me: Isn’t that what I’ve been saying? What does falatio mean?
Her: That you know a great place for oral sex down the street.
Me: Shit!

• What advice would you give the new guys on Season 2 of The Pickup Artist?
--- Have fun and enjoy.
