Ik heb me ne maat van mij afgesproken, de mihasi, om bij hem thuis ons een keer te verdiepen in de wonderbaarlijke (achter)wereld van de ipod :-)

We zijn begonnen met Rockbox...
Het meest eenvoudige om te installeren :-)

Het komt er op neer om het RockboxUtility te downloaden, te starten en gewoon de wizard te volgen!
Ideaal gewoon!!
(Wel tijdelijk voor "small installation" kiezen, want de "complete installation" download thema's en die server ligt dus tijdelijk plat...)

Rebooten en dan krijg je een loader in de stijl van het volgende...

Die mooi Rockbox start als interface :-)

Dan, een multi-choise bootloader genaamd ipodloader 2... Die zit gelukkig mee in ipodlinux, dus die installeren!

De wiki vertelde ons dat er een mooi tooltje was voor windows en andere.

Zowel bij hem als bij mij weigerde dat progsel om onze ipod's te herkennen (ik met men 5.5g 80gb en hij met zelfde 30gb).

Uiteindelijk na veel proberen en zoeken gevonden op een server van filefront :-)

De ".bat" file starten is genoeg om het goedje op de ipod te dumpen :-)

CMD op uw pc laten doen, beetje in't oog houden...

In eerste instantie werd Rockbox niet herkend... Maar na een beetje gelezen te hebben in de bootloader wiki kwamen we er snel achter hoe we de ipl Rockbox moesten laten herkennen...

Nuevos diseños, nuevos dispositivos, ideas ingeniosas con las que Apple reventaría el mercado, pero que al final se han quedado en simples rumores y fakes creativos. Apple a veces no escucha y lo peor es que no quiere aprender de la retroalimentación, a veces excesiva, que le brindan sus propios usuarios. Y es que los ingenieros de diseño de Apple serán todo lo buenos que queráis, pero he visto diseños por la red impresionantes que un chico creó una tarde con habilidad para el photoshop, y con mucho tiempo libre, intentando hacerlos pasar por los nuevos modelos de Mac, o de iPhone. De hecho, si tiráis la vista atrás y recordáis algún diseño de los supuestos Tablet Mac, o de los futuribles MacBooks, son modelos impresionantes que dejan atrás a los actuales diseños que tiene Apple.

También es cierto que muchos fakes eran incluso ridículos, como aquellos iPhone Shuffle, que no tenían ni pies ni cabeza.
