I do ask that you follow point number one, because I'm pretty certain I'm losing things in my inventory because it's a bloody mess and I haven't got around to reorganising it yet..yikes!

REVIEW GUIDELINES:

If you have any items that you would like me to review then I’d be chuffed to do so.  However, a review is just that, I’ll write exactly what I think, but my mum raised me to have manners so rest assured even if I think your stuff sucks I’ll say so in the nicest way possible.  I don’t see any point in writing a review if it doesn’t actually criticise the item in question, so that means I’ll scrutinise the details, zoom in on the seams and the textures and also take into consideration important stuff like permissions ( Mod/Copy/Transfer) and price.  We live in interesting times and every Linden Dollar counts…Kittywitchin is all about quality and I have standards, contrary to popular belief!
I’m a prim whore so I’ll review most objects within reason.  I like reviewing furniture as well as clothes, but I also review jewellery,houses, skins, hair, eyes, modelling poses and anything else *including* the kitchen sink!

If it’s relevent to the Second Life metaverse, then it’ll be relevant to the Kittywitchin’ readers too.

If you would like your products back after I have reviewed them then that is absolutely fine, I don’t expect freebies…but they are nice! Of course I have my own personal preferences, so for the record I’ll list them here and that may help you when sending me items.  As far as clothing goes I’ll wear anything EXCEPT sticky-out skirts (they fill many a freebie box in world).   I can’t stand them!  If it’s hair that you’re sending me then please be aware that I’m particularly interested in variations on my signature bobbed hairstyle, and my favourite colours tend towards the darker end of the spectrum, so think black/dark reds and earthy tones please, I’m a typical Virgo! I like Autumnal shades rather than pastels…personal preference shouldn’t really play a part in a review I know, BUT I don’t think I could give you an honest opinion if I was dressed up like a fondant fancy. I’d be far too busy vomiting due to my candy pink allergy.
If you decide to send me review items, please abide by the policy below:
1. Folders are super useful and appreciated.   For super safety, call your folder  ’For Review’ followed by submission date and your store name please.
2. Please include a notecard, with all the essential details on it like:

• Name of the store & designer(s)
• Name of the outfit/hairstyle/object/building/small patagonian mammal
• Price
• SLURL
• Link to your blog- I can then include you on my blogroll, which is nice.
• Whether you’d like your items returned.
• Anything else that you want to include.

3. Send me the folder via my profile, OR visit my Angel Square Office where you can ‘post’ your items in my postbox! ( It accepts everything except scripts, so cash and goodies are fine:)

To make the body: cut across the top of a small apple, about 3/4″ from the top.

To make the legs: cut the remaining part of apple with apple corer, and use the resulting eight pieces for legs.

Eyes and Web: Eyes are craisins and web is yogurt piped through a baggie (make sure your baggie isn’t fluted at the corners like mine and you’ll get a neater line). Highlights on eyes are also yogurt.

To assemble: put the body and three legs on each side. Pipe yogurt web onto plate and place front legs.

Ian y Stuart Paton, que así se llaman los responsables de tal logro, han batido el récord europeo que establecieron Mark Baggs y su hijo Frank el mes pasado con una marca de 475 kilos, así como el que logró un agricultor belga la semana pasada, que cultivó una calabaza de 481 kilos. Pero el récord del mundo lo ostenta Joe Jutras, un agricultor estadounidense de Rhode Island que en 2007 consiguió una calabaza de 766 kilos

Yikes.

I mean, they're cool t-shirts, and he says he loves them, but - a new camera!  Geez-Louise!  The flash on our old camera made Moo look like some sort of tragic, white-fleshed moon-baby, so this is a wonderful gift.  I've been playing with it all day - here's a series I call, "Pumpkin Cookie."  Behold:  

I still refuse to let my children dress up in any Scary or Dark characters. So far, Aaron's dressed up as a pirate on his 1st Halloween and as Supen Aaron on his 2nd one.

This year, DH already got him a very cute costume to wear. I can't wait to show you how adorable he is in it... it's a surprise!

Anyway, I've been thinking what kid friendly costumes are easy to find and wear for Halloween this year. I've come up with a few characters and their costumes are simple and you might just need a t-shirt some fabric paint and just extra accessories to complete the costume.

1. Super Why- You'll need a green short sleeved shirt with a blue long sleeve shirt. A green craft foam can be made into a mask. A blue fabric can be used as a cape.

2. Joe (from Blues Clues)- You can use any plain colored long sleeve shirt. Then you can decorate it with felt squares or paint. Any pair of khaki pants will complete the costume.

3. The Wiggles- How easy is this? A Red, Blue, Yellow or Purple turtle neck will do. Then you find black pants, and you're a Wiggle!

4. Bert and Ernie- Striped shirts and plain colored turtle necks can create these characters. Drawing stripes on shirts with fabric markers or paint will also work well.

5. Cheetah Girls- The essential item to this costume is a Cheetah patterned top. Then you can accessorize with matching pants, hair clips, jewelry, etc.

6. Ni Hao Kailan- Kailan has a blue tank top and orange shorts. Her hair is tied up in two buns with red hair clips.

7. Dora the Explorer- She wears her trademark purple shirt and orange shorts. You can find a matching purple backpack as an accessory.

8. Handy Manny- Manny wears a green shirt, jeans and a red and white hat. A yellow utility belt and a tool box will be cute and can double as a treat bag.

9. Diego- You'll need a light blue shirt, dark blue pants and a khaki vest for his costume. If you can find an orange back pack, it can be his Rescue pack.

i do have alot to look forward to though.

I need a more variant sentence structure. All my thoughts are in the form of "So this and this, but that and there." So boring.

My supervisor came in to check on me and asked me what I did this weekend. I never have a good answer for these questions. "Just chilled." What DID I do this weekend. I wake up, I sleep, I play video games, eat, watch stuff, put together puzzles. It's a sentinent life. Albeit, a rather enjoyable one. I think I am just feeling restless. I haven't been to the gym or going out and I can feel a tantrum building up. Unfortunately, it's Sunday night so no real adventure is going to happening for at least another couple days. Maybe I will get off my fatass and exercise for once.

I think this is going to be the first halloween I dress up for since...elementary school, I think. I almost dress up for it in 8th grade, but I got a D on Mr. Rick's test and was too depressed to go out. Halloween shopping would be a lot more fun if I actually had $60 to drop on a costume that I will probably never wear again. Or if I had the talent, time, or tanacity to make my own. I think I'm going to be dressing up about 3 times between now and Hallow's Eve, mostly to appease my dear roommate. I can't say it's not a little fun.

I spent the afternoon doing a group interview for a clinical volunteering program at Santa Monica Hospital. The group interview is definitely different than the individual interviews I've done in the past. I like that I get to see and hear what my peers have to say and get a feel for the applicant pool. It's also much less pressure. I'm not sure I would prefer it though. At one point everyone started talking about foster homes and I just sat there quietly, thinking about my perfect little family. About half of us ended up on the same bus back to UCLA and I befriended one of my fellow interviewees. She said I did well, but who can tell really.

Short films are the oldest form of motion picture, so I thought Jupiter Beagle could use some reviews of shorts.  The first review up, for the second day of the 20 Days of Halloween celebration, is a relatively new form of short film: the flash cartoon.

In Homestarloween Party, the namesake of homestarrunner.com, Homestar Runner, throws a Halloween costume party. The characters all show up in various costumes, based on pop culture from the past. Homestar Runner fans should note that Homsar, the series' "secret guy" was not a part of the main cast as of this cartoon, so there's no Easter egg costume here. The residents of Free Country, USA decide to take turns telling a scary story, which ends up being not scary at all due to the story being twisted with each character's personality quirks.

This is the beginning of the very popular Homestar Halloween shorts, and much like The Simpsons Tree House of Horror, the first one is excellent, but the better ones are still to come.

Final Verdict:
Three and one half out of Five

Hopefully we will get back to the pumpkin patch a few more times before it closes!

This morning hubs and I ate breakfast while watching Snoopy & Co.'s halloween themed cartoon before heading up to N Georgia for some hay riding, pumpkin picking, treat eating fun. We stopped at my favorite, Zaxby's, for lunch and then wound our way thru the hills of Dawsonville to Burt's Pumpkin Farm. There were a TON of people there, but we had a blast anyway. We even picked up a tiny pumpkin for Toby. We're not carving our pumpkins quite yet, but when we got home Toby just couldn't wait - so we indulged and let him create a little piece of pumpkin art!
