Minnu has given some wonderful Halloween inspired skins to her group, not leaving out the guys. There are 4 skins in the folder for me, 2 makeups with hair or no hair options

The female skins are creepily beautiful too, there are two makeup options.

The Minnu group is 250L to join but I believe it is worth this fee, they have proven to be very generous with gifts in my experience, the hairstyles worn here have also been given out to the group in the past.

I love free books. Consistent with scientific leadership, statistics books are among the most useful for generating knowledge and making decisions under uncertain conditions.  O'Reilly made their introductory Statistics book, "Statistics in a Nutshell: A Desktop Quick Reference) available as a free eBook, and it's well done.  I was able to retrieve this file, and uncompress it with the also free 7-zip

I'm especially pleased that there are special chapters dedicated to Item Response Theory, however this is not the best book for introducing Rasch Measurement.  I recommend Bond & Fox's excellent but not free book, Applying the Rasch Model, Fundamental Measurement in the Human Sciences"; or two Chapters Paul Squires and I wrote in my next book, "Leading Scientifically", to be published next year, 2009.

1) Free Fashion Advice at the Union Square Green Market.

Two women who claimed to be stylists were giving free fashion advice to anyone who lined up at their booth. Sammy and I eavesdropped and tried to ask them the business rationale for setting up here -- was this for a TV show? A book proposal? a web site? A magazine prank? (Yours truly used to do that for JANE magazine...remember the infamous street spa in Times Square for the March 2006 issue?).  They avoided non-style questions and only gave out a paper with this web site, which looks pretty hokey...plus, these bloggers caught some cameramen hanging around the girls, so I'm betting it's candid camera for a reality show. Another reason to love NY: Where else can you get locally grown produce and good, free fashion advice in one place?

2) Free Mini Crumbs Cupcakes!

You know it's your lucky day when a woman stands on the street corner with a pink chef's cap serving free mini Crumbs cupcakes, of the M&M, Oreo, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup variety. This plate was cleared in less than a minute!

Cast on 34 sts.
Work seed st for 10 rows [1.5"].
Work in st st, purling first row.
Inc 1 st on each side every 4 rows 10x.

Front Neck Shaping

Note: You will be working Back and Left Front at the same time using two separate balls of yarn. You will be shaping the left front neck using one ball of yarn and knitting straight with 2nd ball of yarn on the back.

On next RS row (row 32), work to marker. Remove. With a second ball of yarn bind off 1 sts, complete row.
